Welcome to St. Paul School

ÁP DỤNG NGAY BÂY GIỜ

We opened our doors in 1954 with the Sisters of the Holy Cross
teaching our students through 1987.

Located near Kubota Gardens with a sweeping view of the city and Lake Washington, our rich tradition of excellence attracts families from central and south Seattle, Renton, Kent, Tukwila and Federal Way.

As members of the Rainbow Parishes, we welcome families from our other Rainbow Parishes. In 2002, St. Paul School was seismically upgraded and we now utilized solar power for energy-efficiency.

In August 2013, we introduced the blended learning model with support from the University of Notre Dame’s Alliance for
Catholic Education (ACE). Read the The Seattle Times feature

Our Mission

The mission of St. Paul School is to assist parents and families in fostering the spiritual, moral, intellectual, social, artistic and physical development of the whole child.

Our Philosophy

We build community through our belief that everyone is created in the image and likeness of God. As such, we nurture Christ in all members of the St. Paul School and Parish. We do this by honoring our individual differences. We promote the dignity of all persons by respecting the differences and various life paths of our St. Paul families.

We believe that parents are the primary educators of their children. We work with them as a support team and we model Christ like behavior in conjunctions with the practice of our faith.

Through core classroom teachings and weekly Mass, prayer services, school assemblies, parish involvement and community service, we encourage students to be loving and compassionate individuals.

We believe education must be founded on the highest academic standards, as well as the development of the creative, social, emotional, physical, and spiritual facets of each person.

Our Community

We have an annual average of approximately 150 students enrolled in Pre-K to 8th Grade.

Our average class size is 15 students with a Faculty:Student ratio of 1:14.

  • 97% are students of color
  • 42% of faculty identify as ethnic minorities
  • 80% of the Class of 2017 continued their Catholic education at Catholic high schools
