Sue joined St. Paul in 1991 as the 5th grade homeroom teacher. She became the 1st grade teacher in 1992 and has stayed there ever since! Sue came to St. Paul from 10 years of substituting in the Shoreline School District. Before that she had taught at Renton Park Elementary School, in Madison Illinois, and in Normandy, Missouri.
“My grade school years were spent at Holy Names Academy where I was a boarder. While there, I learned to play the piano and the violin and was able to play in the school orchestra. Later on in life I was able to take that experience and play in the Edmond’s Cascade Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Mr. Robert Anderson. This is why I enjoy teaching music here at St. Paul. My other love has always been English horseback riding. Now my love is my golden retriever puppy, Willi.”
